Hello and Welcome!

I’m Krista Kim, an Oil Painter and Surface Pattern Designer based in Idaho. I live on a small farm and create out of my home studio. In 2013, after experiencing burnout while working nights in the ER in California, my husband and I moved to the country in pursuit of a slower-paced life.

Later that year, I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and infertility, which deepened my desire for a more intentional and holistic lifestyle. I turned to oil painting as a way to navigate the grief of infertility.

Much of my work is inspired by finding peace and joy in simple, everyday moments.

After eight years of infertility, our sweet miracle, Eleanor, arrived. I now create in the margins of motherhood, deeply grateful for this business and the support of each and every one of you.

My giclée prints are high-quality reproductions of my original oil paintings, printed with museum-grade ink on archival fine art paper. Each one is thoughtfully packaged by hand.

I hope you find something special here and that my work inspires you to slow down, breathe, and appreciate the simple beauty of everyday living.
